I'm Alex, a Director of Photography, Gaffer, Colorist, and Photographer based in Boston, MA.
I work primarily on narrative projects and music videos, but I have a wealth of experience as a videographer working on more commercial and documentary projects collecting b-roll and conducting interviews. I also have experience in live-broadcast and sports environments as a camera operator and technical director.
I find I gravitate towards projects that explore themes of growth, time, morality, and interpersonal connection. In my photography, I like to highlight environmental details and human emotion, putting an emphasis on textures, places, and abstract details of lived experiences.
I've been making films since before I can remember, whether that be stopmotion Lego animation or fan-made music videos with my friends, I've always had a drive to tell stories and to create art that hopefully makes someone somewhere feel something meaningful.
I've always held that if my work can move even just one person, make them view the world in a new light, or think about a topic with a new perspective, then I will have succeeded as a storyteller.
